Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Taggle: what you can do here, what we're responsible for, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated 15 September 2026

1.Who we are and what this covers

Taggle is a platform for collecting, organising and tagging visual references. These Terms are the agreement between you and TAGGLE S.R.L., registered in Romania at STR TURDA, NR.48, ET.2, Bucuresti, Romania, company number 51775311 / J2025033609004 ("Taggle", "we", "us").

They apply whenever you visit taggle.pro, create an account, or use any part of the service. If you don't agree with them, don't use Taggle.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data and forms part of this agreement.

2.Beta status

Taggle is currently in beta. Features change, break, and sometimes disappear. We may reset data, change limits, or take the service offline for periods of time with little or no notice.

Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose. We take backups, but during beta we don't guarantee recovery of lost content.

3.Definitions

  • Reference — an individual item stored or indexed on Taggle. A reference holds a thumbnail, a link to the source, a title, a description, tags, and any frames extracted from the source.
  • Content — frames, thumbnails, GIFs, metadata, tags, notes, board titles, profile information, messages, and anything else stored on the platform.
  • Board — a collection of references assembled by one or more users, used to present or prepare work.
  • Subscription — a paid plan giving access to features not available on the free tier.
  • User content — content you upload, create, or add to Taggle, including references you upload and tags you write.

4.Your account

You need an account to use most of Taggle. You must be at least 16 years old to create one. If you're under 18, you need your parent or guardian's permission.

  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself.
  • Tell us at contact@taggle.pro as soon as you suspect someone else has access.
  • One person, one account. Don't share or resell access.

You can delete your account at any time from your security settings. Deletion is explained in section 11.

5.What we host, and what we don't

Taggle stores frames, thumbnails, GIFs and metadata. We do not host full videos. A reference points back to its source, and the material we keep is limited to what's needed to show and find it again.

Some references are curated by us; others are uploaded by users. We don't review uploads before they appear, and the presence of a reference on Taggle isn't an endorsement of it or a statement that it's cleared for your use.

6.Your content and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of everything you upload. We don't claim your work.

To run the platform, we need permission to handle it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, transcode, index and display your content — but only for the purpose of operating, securing and improving Taggle, and only for as long as you keep it on the platform.

If you mark a reference as public, that licence extends to showing it to other users in Explore, on your profile, and in shared boards. Make something private and we'll stop showing it to others, though copies may persist in backups for a limited period.

Improving the service

We may analyse content and usage patterns to improve search, tagging suggestions and recommendations. Where this involves personal data, the Privacy Policy explains the legal basis and your right to object.

7.Rules of use

Don't use Taggle to:

  • Upload material you don't have the right to upload, or that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
  • Post anything illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit, or anything depicting minors inappropriately.
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content, or use automated tools to access the service outside a documented API.
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the platform, or bypass rate limits, access controls, or paywalls.
  • Upload malware, or use Taggle to distribute spam or unsolicited promotion.
  • Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your association with a person or company.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the curated library or any substantial part of it.

If you find a security issue, report it to contact@taggle.pro before disclosing it anywhere else. We won't pursue researchers who act in good faith and give us reasonable time to fix things.

8.Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown at the point of purchase, and that page is what governs your plan.

Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before it ends. We'll tell you the renewal date and price before you subscribe, and remind you before any price change takes effect.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't charge a cancellation fee.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you're a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because Taggle gives you immediate access to digital content, you'll be asked to confirm at checkout that you want access to start straight away and that you understand this ends your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Refunds

Outside the withdrawal right, subscriptions are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise or we've failed to provide the service. Where a refund is due, we'll process it within 14 days using the payment method you originally used.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We don't store your card details. Taxes are added where required.

10.Other people's content, boards and messages

Taggle lets you follow other users, see what they save, share boards, and send messages. Content posted by other users is theirs, not ours, and we don't vouch for it.

When you invite people to a board, they can see and change what's on it. Invite carefully — a shared board is only as private as the people you share it with.

Report anything that breaks these rules to contact@taggle.pro.

11.Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Taggle running, but we don't promise uninterrupted availability. We may take the service down for maintenance, add or remove features, or change how something works.

If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused part of your period.

Taggle relies on third-party infrastructure and on sources we don't control. If a source removes a video, the reference may stop working.

12.Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time. When you do, we delete or anonymise your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Content you added to shared boards may remain visible to the other people on those boards.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms, creates legal risk for us or other users, or has an unpaid balance. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. For serious breaches we may act immediately.

13.Warranties and liability

Taggle is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that consumer law says can't be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Taggle is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 EUR. We're not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.

If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by this section.

14.Indemnity

If you use Taggle in a way that breaks these Terms or the law, and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur — provided we tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defence. This section doesn't apply to consumers acting outside a trade or profession.

15.Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you're a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts.

Please write to contact@taggle.pro first — most things are settled faster that way. If we can't resolve it, EU consumers can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. Otherwise, the courts of Romania have jurisdiction.

16.General

  • Changes. We may update these Terms. For material changes we'll give you reasonable notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Taggle after that means you accept them.
  • Severability. If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce something straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business, and we'll tell you if that happens.
  • Whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about Taggle.
